Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning Clara Beth as usual was the first one up and she woke up Daddy, who then decided to wake everyone else.

Clara Beth had to help wake up her Uncle Nathan though.

After everyone got up and around it was time to open those presents. It's amazing the difference two weeks can make from when we had Christmas with Scott's parents, she was actually trying to get at her presents this time.

Our Christmas morning family picture.

Sitting with Ya Ya watching everyone look at their new stuff.

My Grandparents living room before we cleaned up.

After Clara Beth opened her presents and watched everyone else open theirs she was all tuckered out and fell asleep sitting up in Aunt Leah's lap.

Christmas Eve

This year we spent Christmas with my family on my mom's side. I love the holidays and getting together with family plus it was Clara Beth's first Christmas so it was extra special.

Before everyone else got there Clara Beth enjoyed spending some time with her Pappaw.

We all got together and ate and as usual there was way more food then we could possibly consume.

After everyone was done eating it was time to open presents. Clara Beth got all kinds of goodies!

While it was mine and Daddy's turn to open presents Clara Beth had some fun with her Uncle Nathan.

This year I made everyone pose for a family picture, I don't think they minded to much though they all wanted copy's. If only Clara Beth had looked at the camera.

After all the presents were opened and everything calmed down Clara Beth decided to relax with Daddy and Aunt Leah on the couch.

Christmas with Grandma and Granddad

A couple weekends before Christmas Scott's parents came up to have our little Christmas get together with them. We went and looked at the lights on the square, then came home and opened presents.

Clara Beth wasn't old enough to open her presents by herself  but with me and Daddy's help she did pretty good.

She loved the Bumbo Grandma and Granddad got her.
