Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Clara Beth is 6 months old!

It is so hard for me to believe that our little girl is already six months old! She weighs 13 lb. 12 oz. and is 26 in.long. She has 5 teeth coming in 2 of which you can actually see and is finally starting to grow some hair. Some of her achievements for this month are getting up on her hands and knees,(she's working so hard to crawl.) She can be laying on her stomach and sit up all by herself and she's starting to pull up. She has become a very good eater and has liked everything we have given her so far.

Here's some pictures from her six month birthday.

Apparently I was boring her with all the pictures. :)

Little Rock Zoo

This past weekend we were in Little Rock to watch my sister play ball, and to watch Kirk in an auctioneer competition. While we were in town we decided to go to the zoo with my family. Nathan even made time in his busy college schedule to come and go with us.

While we were sitting in the car waiting on Nathan, Clara Beth was trying to help Daddy drive.

Scott and Nathan wouldn't stop long enough to let me take the picture and thought it was so funny to make me run ahead of them several times to get an even remotely good one.
Clara Beth and I enjoyed watching the tigers.

While Clara Beth's favorite part of the zoo was watching the little kids run around. Ya Ya's and Aunt Leah's favorite part was Clara Beth.

Nathan and Scott checking out the otter's while Scott carries Clara Beth around like a sack of taters.

Clara Beth enjoying her daddy carrying her around like sack of taters.

We had to get a picture of everyone.

I was nice enough not to make Scott be a flower.

While at the zoo on a sunny day the most important thing to remember is your sunglasses.

I found it so strange the birds would literally stop and pose for a picture.
Finally after a long day at the zoo Clara Beth missed the last part of it and did what she can not seem to do at night...................... Sleep.

Auctioneer Competition

Recently we went to watch our good friend Kirk compete in an auctioneer competition in Little Rock.

Clara Beth had lots of fun sitting with Ms. Vicki.

Kirk before he took his turn.

He did a really good job!

Clara Beth decided when Uncle Kirk wasn't up it was boring.

      Watching his competition.

He got second place. Like he said there's always next year.

A day at the park

Last week it was so nice outside we decided to walk to the park.

I'm so thankful Clara Beth sits up on her own now and can sit facing forward in her stroller. She loves looking at everything and it makes for a much happier little girl.
Her and Daddy had to play on the playground

Valentines Day

On Valentines Day instead of fighting the crowds to go out and eat, we went to my mom's.

Scott cooked my mom, sister, and I some delicious pizza!

I think Clara Beth had a lot more fun playing in the floor with her toys and Daddy then she would have at a restaurant anyways.

Also I have to put up the picture of the beautiful flowers my wonderful Hubby got me!

Impromptu trip

Recently we made a trip to Scott's parents that was a surprise to them and us. We were trying to think of something to do that weekend and Scott suggested we go to Wynne. So we did! I was amazed that we packed everything and were on the road in less then 45 minutes.

Clara Beth wasting time in the car playing with her toys.

Also hanging out with her Daddy.

While we were there we all went and visited some more of the family.

Clara Beth loved Meemaw!  Every time Meemaw talked to her she would grin so big.

Hanging out with her Great Great Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Sam.

Now for some time in the floor.

She's so close to crawling.

Bath Time

Up until recently Clara Beth has not been a fan of baths but she really enjoys them now.

She was being so cute I snapped a few pictures. She has so much fun with her little rubber ducky.

All snuggled up in her towel.

Snow day

Recently we had almost two feet of snow.  So, we decided to take Clara Beth outside to look for a little while.

Sitting and waiting for Daddy and me to get all bundled up like her.

I don't believe I've ever seen so much snow.

Clara Beth didn't know what to think of it all.

We had our neighbors take a picture for us.
