Clara Beth's First Easter

This was Clara Beth's first Easter. It is an amazing thing to know that we are celebrating our Christ rising from the grave on Easter! We don't want to do the Easter bunny or anything like that but we don't see any problem with Clara Beth getting a basket from us or hunting eggs on Easter. As long as she realizes that's not what Easter is all about.

 Daddy and I got to make her a basket and fill it with little things and this is what it looked like before she ripped into it. No candy yet but that will come soon enough.

 As you can see she was more interested in the grass then anything else.

 After we got all the grass out of her mouth, we got her to put her hat on for a picture.

 Then she started eating the grass again. Maybe next year she will enjoy her basket a little more.

Clara Beth is 8 Months Old!

Clara Beth is 8 months old and growing so fast! She is still 14 lb. 3 oz. but is now 27 and 1/2 in. long.

 She has become a relatively happy baby and laughs all the time now.

She still does not sleep through the night but we're hoping it will happen soon! 

She has started to eat more and more off Mommy's plate and thinks every time I have food she should to.

We love our little Squirt and are enjoying every minute of watching her grow.
